Renewal Membership Categories

ACTIVE MEMBER ($175.00 USD)

Active Membership shall be open exclusively to those individuals who shall have a minimum of Three (3) years, full time employment experience in the investigative service of an Official Governmental or Quasi-Governmental Agency formed for law enforcement purposes, or, Five (5) years, full time employment experience as follows: as a Licensed Private Investigator, or, as a Manager (or Executive) in a Licensed Private Investigation Agency, or, as a Proprietary Investigator, Certified Fraud Examiner, Crime Scene Investigator, or, other qualified Applicants maintaining equivalent experience and credentials (to be ascertained on a case-by-case basis).

ACTIVE MEMBERS, after 24 calendar months, MAY be invited to the designation of "Special Agent".  This designation is exceptional based upon further individual due diligence and personal qualifications of the respective Agent, and, to be determined and awarded exclusively by our Board of Directors.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER ($125.00 USD)

Associate Membership shall be open to those who fail to meet the requirements for Active Membership, to wit: Associate Members may serve on select Committees, subject to the approval of our Board of Directors. However, these Committees shall not include the Nominating Committee, the Membership Committee nor the Grievance Committee.  Associate Members can be elevated to ACTIVE MEMBER status upon meeting the Five (5) year investigative service requirement, or, by completing Three (3) years of active Membership in the Organization.   An Associate Member in good standing must apply in writing to the Membership Committee for ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP, and, will be granted the request upon approval of our Board of Directors.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS receive a Wall Certificate designating authorized membership status.

CHARTERED MEMBER ($75.00 USD)

Chartered Membership shall be open to graduated students of an accredited academic Institution, College or University, thereat having been enrolled in a Criminal Justice, Police Science, Law School or related program.   Such Members shall be eligible for consideration to ACTIVE or ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP status upon attaining the requisite qualifications and making application to the Membership Committee for entrance to those respective Membership levels.

CHARTERED MEMBERS  receive a Wall Certificate designating authorized membership status.

AGENCY MEMBER ($275.00 USD)

Agency Membership shall be for any professional Investigative Agency maintaining Two (2) accepted candidates. Additional Agency candidates may be added at the rate of $275.00 USD per person.  Agency Membership shall further be open to any professional Security Company maintaining Two (2) accepted candidates.  Additional Company candidates may be added at the rate of $125.00 USD per person.  Such Memberships shall not be upgraded.

AGENCY MEMBERS receive participation in the alphabetical listing, display advertising in our On-Line Business Exchange Directory, and, a Wall Certificate designating authorized membership status.

AFFILIATE MEMBER ($175.00 USD)

Affiliate Membership shall be open to those individuals who shall have a minimum of Five (5) years, full time employment experience as follows: Watch, Guard and/or Patrol Agency Qualifier (or Executive), or, as a Security Supervisor, Security Manager, Security Executive, or, other qualified Applicants maintaining equivalent experience and credentials.  Affiliate Membership shall further be open to those individuals with no investigative experience, and, who do not serve as an investigative / security practitioner.  It shall also be open to organizations of any type which shall support the Association’s purposes for its foundation and the betterment of the community-at-large.  Such Membership may NOT be considered to any other Membership classifications.

AFFILIATE MEMBERS receive a Wall Certificate designating authorized membership status.

ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP ($25.00 USD)

Association Membership is cost free, and, available to every Local, State, Provincial, National and International Association that represents the interests of professional Investigators, Detectives and other private and public Law Enforcement practitioners.

Association membership carries with it an exceptional and unique “professional relationship” with our Organization. Certain mutually-enhancing business expectations are required for such membership resulting in mutual benefits deriving therefrom. All interested associations should review our “Association Membership Details” prior to undertaking Association application.

ASSOCIATION MEMBERS receive participation in the alphabetical listing, display advertising in our On-Line Business Exchange Directory, and, a Wall Certificate designating authorized membership status.
