The original International Police Congress was first established in February 1950 … an organization dedicated to providing Detectives, Investigators and members of any branch of Law Enforcement, who were in need of assistance outside of their own jurisdiction and/or territory, with a responsible and professional mode of obtaining competent representation.
Since its inception, the International Police Congress has been characterized by an unusual flexibility in adapting its service to the particular needs of its Members, and, by an ability to anticipate their demands with satisfaction. These merits were appreciated from the start of this International System, and, no doubt accounted for the unique reputation which this System enjoyed among all of its Members.
In accordance with the International Police Congress established policy of maintaining a high and meritorious standard of service, our newly-established, modern-day International Police Congress invites the cooperation of all interested participants in bringing to the attention of the International System any factors or considerations which have bearing upon the maintenance of this standard.
As such, out of respect to, and, admiration for, the work, dedication and vision of the Organization founder, the new International Police Congress Board of Directors and Advisory Board have individually and collectively undertaken to restore and further develop the world's most accepted Exchange Directory for Detectives, Investigators, Special Security and members of any branch of Law Enforcement. The new International Police Congress … bigger … better … more needed in today's complex multi-national venue.
The International Police Congress ("IPC") primary function, heretofore, and, at present, and, for the future, has been, remains and shall be to afford the most globally, highly qualified licensed and bonded Agents in the many allied fields of sensitive Intelligence, Investigation and Security by way of relying upon our continuously revolving interchange modality when in need of information, assistance, interaction and interface from outside of one’s operating area. We want only the best, and, will have only the best.
We do NOT seek “volume”. We seek QUALITY.
Our vision is to advance the Investigation and Security professions by way of Association goals being met through educational programs, and, through aggressively advocating the needs of our profession(s) in the legislative venues of Government (State, Provincial and Federal);
