The original International Police Congress was initially founded in 1950 with the primary goal of promoting and maintaining the highest ethical practices, and, of creating the world’s largest “Exchange Directory”, dedicated to providing Detectives, Investigators, Security Personnel and members of any branch of Law Enforcement who were in need of assistance outside of their own jurisdiction and/or territory an interactive resource.
The new International Police Congress, still maintaining the highest of standards and interactive purposes, is comprised of highly qualified and dedicated individuals who are involved in the various venues of both private and public Law Enforcement, in addition to other related industries from across the free world. As a Professional Association, we work for the good of the Investigative, Security and Law Enforcement industries via the sharing of knowledge, expertise and mutual cooperation among and between Members.
The International Police Congress further seeks to forge ties with all International Bodies, Governmental Authorities and Non-Governmental Organizations fighting international “crimes against children” by way of our newly-created “Human Trafficking / Child Exploitation” Department dedicated exclusively to that important cause.
